About Lesson
I have been dancing since 1988.
I was dancing with my girlfriend while we sang “The Little Mermaid” together, and the Principle of the school screamed, “DON’T DO THAT!”
It would take me 15 years to realize the problem was that we were dancing.
It took me another 10 years to realize the problem is that we were both girls dancing together.
It took me another 15 years to realize the problem was his closed mind and not us two girls dancing at all.
Regardless, that day, I learned a valuable lesson :
1 – I had to Dance.
2 – I had to Dance in Secret.
What began was a 35 year long Binge/Purge relationship with Dance.
I never quite had my head around Dance… until I saw this video on Fred Astaire’s advice to Debbie Reynolds :
