Welcome to Anna’s Classroom. The User’s Manual Of The Subconscious Mind + The Learning Journey of The Discovered Self + Mother Nature’s Business Model In other words… “Everything you should have learned about life and didn’t.”
This is the story of Booker T. Washington, a Former Black Slave, a Man, who rose up from the lowest Societal Position in his era to obtain the highest accomplishments in Education, Oratorial Mastery, and Writing during the 1800’s.
This is the story of how he inspired this Former, White Domesticated Slave Woman to follow in his footsteps.
Anyone can be your inspiration. Don’t let race or gender limit where your inspiration comes from. All underdogs are equal. – Anna Imagination
I was 15 when I first heard the musical Ragtime. Booker T. Washington ignited my soul.
Here was a man who, in the 1800’s, rose up from slavery on Education, and climbed higher and further than anyone else before him.
I thought, “If he can do it, then so can I.”
And so, I did.
Because of Booker T. Washington, I did.
I saw precisely how, a man like Booker T. Washington, against all odds, could stand up out of the shackles of slavery and, using Education, become the most educated, the wisest, the most revered man in his lifetime.
No person in all of history did more to inspire me than he.
I did not need a white woman as my role model. I did not need anything more than the Story of an Underdog, beaten down by a Powerful Bully and how he used the Path of Knowledge and Education to do it.
All I needed was Relatability and Relevance. I was an Underdog with the odds stacked against me under a Powerful Bully. That was enough.
I turned to Plato because Booker T. Washington turned to his books.
I turned to peace and knowledge, because that is how Booker T. Washington did it.
And the best part? Between Plato’s Curriculum and Booker T. Washinton’s Educational Path from Slavery to Freedom to the Wisest man alive in his time, I knew precisely what my Road to Freedom would look like, and I did not need any convincing.
I was off.
The curse of the Underdog is when you are so far low down, that you are Invisible. And so you scream, you fight, and cry, you take up arms and go to war… But against a Powerful Bully, you cannot. In fact, taking up arms fuels the Power Dynamic and ignites the Passion and the Power of the Bully.
Because what you are really fighting is not at all Power.
You are fighting The Delusion of The Bully.
The true Power is in the 12 Ethics, in Truth, in Logic, and in Wisdom. And these are the things the “Powerful” Bully does not at all have.
What the Bully has is Delusion on their side. And no amount of guns or war will save you. Not. At. All.
So to fight the Delusion-of-Power Bully and win, you must fight Fire with Fire… in this case… Reality and Truth with Delusion.
And Truth is only in Logic, Love, and the 12 Ethics.
You know who you are.
Think. Find the Relatability. Think. Plan. Name your True Nemesis.
Are you fighting Power? Or Delusion?
