Cognitive Dissonance = The Feeling of Lies vs. Inner Peace = The Feeling of Truth
I encountered something unpleasant this morning, which is the first clue that I had a lesson to learn.
I had seen a toxic ad yesterday, which misused the word “Failure.”
Failure comes up often in Psychology. Most people have a deep fear of it. The Usage does not match the Definition. And marketing results in Toxic beliefs that lead to people turning in on themselves.
I’ve seen people throw their entire lives away because of their fear of Failure. And this marketing nurtured that fear.
I posted a comment that “What people think is Failure is really Trial & Error.” And the posted replied dismissive, condescending, and… I hate to say “Insensitive” to a stranger.
A stranger.
I thought, “Huh.” I expect this on Facebook. Not LinkedIn.
I replied with the logic of why I said what I said, but the emotions (Cognitive Dissonance) had me looking for the Fallacy. I looked at her profile. She looked like a Professional. Huge success. 100,000+ Followers. Smiling and clean in all her pictures.
I got up and made coffee. Perplexed.
But her ad took advantage of ignorance.
And she scoffed at a stranger.
We weren’t even following each other.
While I made my coffee, I found it. Her inconsistency. Nice and “happy” on the outside. Rude to strangers and predatory on the inside.
She was pretty on the outside, but ugly on the inside. She used “Pretty” to hide her “Ugly.”
There it was.
Apparently, Cognitive Dissonance also works on the inconsistent behavior and image patterns too.
Which means, the emotion Cognitive Dissonance means, “This doesn’t match. It is not True.”
Son of a bitch.
“True” in Science and Math means Equal (to Mother Nature’s Equilibrium).
Which is why Mathematicians say “Is this equation True?”
Which is why Logicians say “Is this statement True?”
Truth means “Balanced and Equal to Nature’s Logic.”
Cognitive Dissonance is the Feeling (Not an emotion) we feel when things are not True.
Cognitive Dissonance is the Feeling we feel when there is Falsehoods or Lies.
This is huge.
It is when our Internal Logical Core detects Logical Fallacy. Cognitive Dissonance is the “Emotional Pain” people feel… Which is why it never goes away… It’s a Feeling. Which means it’s a Force. Not an Emotion (Energy).
Which means, once you’re trained in Cognitiive Dissonance, Logic, and Emotional Regulation, you become a “Truth Detector,” like me.
I have been a Truth Detector since I was 4 years old. I have been trying to find the “How” and the Math all of my life to see how I’ve been doing it. Because of this Skill… Let’s call it… Truth Detection Skill… I was able to locate 3 Logical Fallacies from my Educators before I was 12 years old, which told me that they were not qualified to teach me.
So I chose Plato as my teacher instead.
If more people has this skill… And now I know how to teach it.
“Cognitive Dissonance.”
Let’s call this something less “Clinical” shall we?”
It is the Feeling of Lies.
“Peace” is the Feeling of Truth.
You see, when people change the names, they hide the trail to their lie. Which is why it is so important to use the right words. Usage must match Definition. Because if it doesn’t, you can be abused. You can trust people who are scamming you.
When usage doesn’t match Definition, you become vulnerable to lies. You can be bullied. You trust liars and deceivers.
Words. Matter.
Apparently, so does Image and Mannerisms.
Because…
Image = Mannerisms = Words = Behavior
But if they don’t match, then the person is lying to you (or themselves).
And now… That “horrible” feeling most of us have every day of our lives, that is all of the Lies and Illogic contradicting all of our Truths and Beliefs.
Which is why when we are on Social Media, when we read something that doesn’t make sense or that is “wrong,” we have to say something to “fix the logic” to stop the pain.
Ah. I have a fix for that. I use the If/Then Clause, “If they do not fit my Logical Core, Then they have their own Logical Core and I do not let them in.”
(Them meaning their Logic).
There is the Skill Objectiveness + Discernment that allows the trained student to select what they should or should not let it.
It is obtained through Practiced Awareness and Assessment.
