About Course

Hello, Dear Guest.

Welcome to The Healing Garden’s Stepping Stone Courses.

All of Learning is Sequential. This means that each Course must be learned in a very precise Order because all Knowledge is Dependent upon Previous Knowledge.

At The Healing Garden, we teach you what that Sequence is, why you need to learn in this Sequence, and how to build your Own Learning Journey Independent from any Teacher.

Self-Resourcefulness is the Beating Heart of everything each one of us Craves, Seeks, and Lacks to some degree.

The more you build your Self-Resourcefulness, the more Freedom, Independence, and Ease you earn for your Life. This realization came to me from James at ConEdison’s Call Center. And to him, I dedicate this Course.

After having a Power Outage last night, I spent the night — not watching TV or doom scrolling — talking with my children for the first time in a very long time. Away from all Technology.

I asked Why it took a Power Outage for me to pull myself away from Tech, and that is when I realized, “The Path of Least Resistance.” Energy Preservation. Yes, but from what?

I went to bed last night, not knowing this answer.

After a wonderful conversation with James in which I explained my situation, he reflected on how calm I was whereas many other people call in panicked.

“Why?” I asked, and he said, “They lack Self-Resourcefulness.”

Self-Resourcefulness.

The Fountainhead to my Work and The Healing Garden. I was raised in Central New York, a Generation X. Nothing phases Gen X. Self-Resourcefulness is why.

I’ve been wondering what exactly it was that made Gen X so different. My Generation was the Generation that was so neglected, Lord of The Flies ensued for 10 years and Self-Resourcefulness was the result. Maybe… it was a little too extreme, but with this knowledge and this vast eye-opener, it allows me to wrap up The Healing Garden into a perfect, single word, that summarizes everything we do here.

Freedom, Self-Authority, Independence, Autonomy, Problem Solving, Free Will… These all are the Traits of Self-Resourcefulness.

We begin with DIY Education and Self-Teaching. Once you know how to Read and Write and Add, you can do anything. You just need to be taught — very briefly — How.

High Quality Education is the “How” to do Everything.
