About Lesson

There is a lot that takes place in Mathematics that goes beyond “Solve for X.”

“Solve For X” is Stage #9 and #10 of Chain Reaction Science.

Here we will break down all the Stages of Chain Reaction Science that you will need to do prior to “solving for X.”

  1. Become Educated on Problem Identification.
  2. Become Aware of the Problem
  3. Be Mindful of “The Order of Operations and Sequencing”
  4. Identify What the Problem is
  5. Factors Involved in the Problem
  6. Put them in the right Order of Independence/Dependence (Values of Weakest to Strongest)

Remember those “sequencing” Practices in 1st and 2nd Grade where you had to “put things in the right order?” They were having you work on Step #8 of Problem Solving (without telling you that you were working on Step #8 of Problem Solving).

  1. Identify the Independent (Catalyst)
  2. Filter for Anomaly and Common Denominators (Constants)
  3. Constants = Truth
  4. Calculate and Solve for X

This is Math. This is ALL of Math.

Exercises and Problems in Math Courses and Books will have you:

  • Practice the 12 Steps of Natural Scientific Method (.<>.)
  • Build your own Equation, Formula, Algorithm
  • Identify and Practice one of the 5 Groupings of Math

That is it.

The Correct Order of Operations (Sequencing) for Learning Math is:

  • Linguistics (The Building Blocks of Comprehension and Logic)
  • Logic (The Story, Theory, and the Ordering of Sequencing)
  • Arithmetic (The Operations on a Basic Calculator)
  • Algebra (Scientific Method of Problem Solving)
  • Geometry (Measuring Shapes and Definition)
  • Calculus (Measuring Change over Location and/or Time)
  • Trigonometry
