The ability to “Zoom In” with your Perspective and “Zoom Out” is vital in Open Mindedness and Close Mindedness. 

Of all the stages of Mental Diversification, save for Story Hopping, Controlling your Lens is Vital to mastering Mental Discipline. 

This is the difference between Inside Point of View vs. Outside Point of View vs. Omniscient Point of View. 

Do you remember the ending of Men In Black? That is what I am talking about. 

Zoom Out.

98% of all adults can’t Zoom Out. They don’t even know they are trapped inside the Insider’s Point of View. 

You will never know where you are in relativity to something until you have both the Insider POV and the Outside POV and you Integrate these two Points of Views together.

Only then do you gain Perspective. Perspective is Depth in Comprehension. It is not Point of View.

You are the insider POV of you only. You are the Outsider POV of Others Only. But you can become the Outside POV of Your Life.

Learn how to look at yourself from the Outside POV. Learn how to Master watching you and observation your Situations with the Outsider POV, and then compare that Point of View with the Insider POV and that is when you gain Wisdom. 

This requires Imagination as you “span out” and assess your Situation from all the Angles. 

But first, you have to get “On the outside.”

Imagine what it looks like inside of something. Feel that. Remember what it Feels like being trapped inside something you can’t see. 

And remember what it felt like when you were able to break out and see the Outside of your Situation. 

We do this with relationships all the time following a Break up. We experience the Relationship from Within. We can Feel, but not see it. And then we break up and we are on the Outside. We See the situation as it really is.

We can See it. That is the Feeling of the Outsider Point of View. People are talking about the Matrix. It is a metaphor for what they can’t explain. 

98% of the Population is Blind to the Real Situation. The Real Situation is that there is no one Controlling you. The whole damn thing was just a Delusion. 

You are operating according to a Delusion. Once you get outside of the Delusion you will realize that no one is controlling you. You were free the whole time. Your Emotions were weaponized against you while Blinders were put on you. 

But you could have taken them off at any time. All you had to do was to Think. And the Delusion is that “someone was obligated to tell you to Think.” You don’t need permission to Think.

That is the Delusion. And the moment you choose to Think, you see it. And you’re out, just like that. And once you’re out, you can’t go back in. Because then you Know. 

This is The Insider’s Point of View. It is when we can Feel the Inside, but not See it.

The Outsider Point of View is when we can See the Situation, but not Feel it. 

You have to Feel and See it. The Mental Discipline is all in Managing and Regulating your Emotions so you can Zoom Out to assess the reality of the Situation. 

This is pure Imagination. This is what Imagination is for. 

Imagine yourself as an Outsider looking into your Situation. What would your Situation look like if you were outside watching it and observing it? What would you then see?

Think back to every situation. Recall the event. Feel it, but then project yourself outside and imagine what it would look like looking in. What would it look like? Now compare how it looks like vs. how it feels.

Zoom out further and look at the Summation of your entire relationship with this person. Zoom out even further and look at you with all of your relationships. Do you see any Common Denominators in your behavior? 

What are you doing in relationships over and over again? How are all the people in your life the same? How are all the people in your life different? 

Imagine your life on a Story Book Stream all lined up in a row, each chapter after each chapter and just walk the pages of your Life. What do you see? What do you notice? What does your life look like from the Outside? 

Are you going where you want to go? 

Now imagine your Life — because it is — is a vast Ship that you can change the Heading on. Where do you want your Story to go? Look to the unwritten Future. Where do you want this Story of yours to end up? 

Do you want to be happy? 

Do you want to be laughing? 

Do you want to be partying with friends and your partner? 

Do you want to be travelling the world on adventure? 

Now, imagine all the steps between that Heading, that moment, and this moment in front of you, right now. 

What steps do you have to take to get from where you are to where you want to go? 

This is what it means to Zoom Out.

You should always have the Position of Life Omniscience. The Position of Global Omniscience. The Position of Chapter Omniscience. 

And the ability to dissect and Zoom in at the Core Problem in front of you. 

This is The Surgeon who is always Dissecting, but who is oblivious to the fact that the Heart he is operating on is part of a Living Body. 

When was the last time you zoomed out, stepped away from Dissection, and just observed the Entire Body that is your entire Life?
