The word “Sophie” has grated against my Logic for decades, setting off my “Logic Radar.”
“Where does the word “Wisdom” come from because the “W” and the “V” are not Greek.
Dumbasses claim that English comes from Proto-Germanic and German, which is actually our Cousin.
Old Norse is English’ Parent and the Word “Wisdom” is a pure example of this.
The Old Norse word for Wisdom is “Visdomr.”
Old Norse is Parent to two Languages : Proto-Germanic and Anglo-Saxon, which are Sibling Languages.
Proto-Germanic birthed German.
Anglos-Saxon birthed English.
Thus German is the Cousin of English.
You can see this in the Word “Wisdom.”
Visdomr (Old Norse)
Visdomr (Old Norse) +> Wisadomaz (Proto-Germanic) +> Weisheti (Germanic)
Visdomr (Old Norse) +> Wisdom (Old English) +> Wisdom (English)
BTW… The Norse were so much a part of Great Britain from the 7th Century to 1066 CE that the heart of England was the Viking City, Jorvik (pronounced Yorkvik), which became “York” hence, New York.
Old Norse gave us all of our “ou” words, “w” words, “-all” words, “oo” words, “th” words, “oa” words, “bl” words, and “gh” words.
So “bough,” “through,” “rough,” and “hall”, “fall,” “call,” and “blood,” “tooth,” yeah… that is all Viking. Dudes. We speak Modern Viking.
The Futhark Alphabet matches English Phonics perfectly, so much so that it is easier to write English with Futhark instead of the Greek Alphabet with Latin Rules.
So… The Ancient Greek equivalent of “Wisdom?” That would be Magi, which is Akkadian/Assyrian and Ancient Persian.
Wisdom (Old Norse) = Magic (Persian)
“Magiology” is the Ancient Greek word for The Logic of Wisdom.
Why all the word alteration?
Word Warfare. That’s why.
