About Lesson

The Point of View is where and how you experience something. The Perspective is what you experience.

Imagine you are at an Icecream shoppe in the middle of summer. You arrive and park the car. You go to stand in line.

There are people with their icecream, enjoying their icecream as they walk past you. There are people waiting in line with you, anticipating their icecream. There are people who have finished their icecream.

Stand in the far back and observe those eating, those who have eaten, those who will eat.

Their experience is their Point of View. But you all are at the icecream shoppe.

So you all have the same Perspective — the Icecream shoppe — but not at all the same experience.

Reflect on your Experience (Point of View) as well as your Location and your Line of Visibility (Perspective).

This is your 1st Person Point of View, 3rd Person Point of View, and 2nd Person Point of View.
