I struggle with teaching. I have been told that I am one of the best people have ever seen… I have been told this many times by so many.
As I write this, I have a meeting on Monday pending for my first award nomination in Teaching and Education.
True Teaching is setting an example and Role Modelling. Role Model Teaching, is what I call it. And if you want people to learn what you are doing, then you have to do what you want the to learn from you.
No one ever learns from lectures.
So every time I stand up and talk, I have this feeling just scream at me loud and clear, “Stand in the back, Anna. Be silent. Let them build. Open doors for yourself. Show them how to open doors. Allow them to watch you. But show them by doing it for yourself.”
The people in my care are people who want to Lead like me. But how I Lead is to stand back, mind my own, and do my work. I’m here if they need to talk, but leading is stepping up and claiming your power. It’s making choices and doing.
It’s deciding, “What Ethics do I want to represent?” And then doing them.
It’s a lot of time spent with yourself asking what qualities you want, who you want to be, who you have to be and need to become that will best serve others and meet your goals.
It’s prioritizing your Mission and the Needs and Service for others above your Hatred, Prejudice, Fears, Pain, Traumas… It’s opening your heart, closing your mouth, and throwing away all Judgement for the rest of your life.
And then taking a back seat to make room for others to grow, stand, and practice taking the lead and steering your ship.
It’s a lot like they’re riding a bicycle for the first time, but all you have to do is stand back and always keeping one hand on the seat… and waiting for that moment to just let go.
As a Leader, you already know how to lead. You’re doing it. What you really need to be doing is stepping back and giving space and opportunity to future Leaders. This is Leadership.
True Leadership. You already made it. You’re leading. The purpose of any leader is to train the next generation and to pass the reigns on.
You are the safety net for them in the time that the disasters arise. It’s that simple. You are their training wheels while they learn to lead. And by the time they Fly without you, they will be ready to train and nourish the next Generation.
It’s what we do here. It’s why everything is automated. Because you must learn to become Self-Sufficient. And Reading, Watching Video Lectures, deciding what you need… Leadership knows how to get this done without hand holding… so don’t hand hold.
Make yourself available (My Office Hours are on Saturdays at 11:00 AM EST for registered Members). Mingle and Network. Find your way. This is exactly how it’s done. It’s dreaming and then doing the work to make it happen.
Here, in this course, we just lay down the Stepping Stones, shine the light on the path, provide you with direction and resources, we open doors for you, and connect you with the Highest Quality of Education, Standards, and People that is available in the world.
What you do with this is up to you. Which is Leadership. Which is what you will be learning when you come to your own People.
It’s setting the “Vibe.” Defining the Energy of the Room. It’s being the Role Model to inspire others while giving them the space to shine and grow and climb. It’s letting them stand on your back to raise them up.
That is exactly what Leadership is. Putting them on your shoulders and back to raise them up so they too can reach the top.
