Music Theory is highly recommended. If you are a Scientist, plays with the Physics. 

Remember the 1st Ethic. Courage. Self-Nourishment. In the words of the Irish, Music is medicine.

I strongly recommend Walter Piston’s Harmony book, which is the same text book that Julliard uses.

Music hones the Intuition, which is the first Stage of Scientific Method. Music integrates Logic, Math, and Physics right into us, which we require for our Self-Preservation System. 

Pythagoras believed that the Universe is only just pure Music, and I absolutely agree with him. Music is The Integration of all The Disciplines into Sound. 

It is The First Stage of Communication. 

Every single Human Being begins with Music, Song, and Dance before they talk.

We require Music for The Story, The Rhythm, The Frequency, The Math, The Intuition, The Soul, The Communication, The Self Comprehension.

I strongly recommend starting this from 2 years old (or sooner) up to 12 years old. If they child decides they do not want this, respect the Child’s desire. 

If they desire a different instrument or path, respect the Child’s Learning Journey. Only their Intuition can direct them.
